Come and enjoy the 20th anniversary of the Skeleton Park Arts Festival, a non-profit annual summer solstice celebration, during the June 20 – 22 Summer Solstice Weekend. This free, family-oriented event takes place in McBurney Park and the surrounding neighbourhood.
This year’s performers include Polaris Prize Winner Cadence Weapon, Almond Milk, Mimi O’Bonsawin, Zoon, Tiny Horse, Moskitto Bar, Splash N’ Boots, Cantabile Youth Choir, Anthea Feaver, Oakridge Ave, Trash Panda Brass Band, to name a few.
Saturday and Sunday’s programming will also feature local food vendors, family activities by Department of Illumination, community organization information booths, and the partner arts organization, The Fat Goose Collective, who is in charge of the Artisan Market from 10am-5pm on June 21, 22.
