The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Cast Out of the Shadows

For the first time in Kingston, The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes alive on stage with a drag-fuelled take on the classic shadow-cast tradition. The film will screen in full, with Kingston drag artists Rowena Whey, Carn E Val, Dare de LaFemme, Oktavia Kalor, Street Meat, Sundae Mourning, Yuni Verse, and Tyffanie Morgan taking the stage to perform live during the musical numbers.

3 dates! October 21, 22, and 23rd!

Expect a rowdy, theatrical night of lip-sync, camp, costumes, call-backs, and audience participation, while the dialogue scenes play on screen without a live shadow cast. Props are strongly encouraged, with just two exceptions: NO RICE and NO WATER PISTOLS.

This year, we also raise a special toast to the late, great Tim Curry (1946–2026), whose fearless, flamboyant performance made Dr. Frank-N-Furter immortal.
