Single use plastics and seed starting
If you follow me and my silly seed starting stories, you may know I love reusing plastics. In particulate, plastic takeout containers. They are amazing for seed starting. Often easy to clean, they have a clear lid and a dark base. All perfect for becoming a mini propagation station.
Kingston, Ontario has banned single use plastics. The food industry has been adjusting. Who knew I would need to adjust?! When I look to my blue bin this springtime for seed starting, the blue bin is bare. For some reason, this has been a struggle. How do I start seeds indoors without my little kits? We will see. Tyffanie’s garden has got to be planted!
Oh and I finished my Soils and Plant Growth course. We will see!
