The dangers of drag queen gardening

Tyffanie

I broke a nail! Argh! Oh the dangers and pitfalls of drag queen gardening. It means wearing gloves yet to expect from time to time a broken nail or scratch on your arm or leg.

You can guess it. I was out in the garden. Doing some springtime pruning. My hydrangea looks much better with a good cut back. Plus the privet needed a hair cut, too.

Future chores includes pruning my hardy shrub hibiscus. Often it is called a Rose of Sharon around these parts. Now is a good time to prune it. Surprisingly, there’s lots of myths on when to prune this hibiscus. But now is the time. Thinking I need to do a video about it.
