The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Cast Out of the Shadows 2026

Don’t Dream It, Be It! Three Sold-Out Nights of Rocky Horror Magic at The Screening Room

Well, SweetPeas, what a thrill!

The fishnets have been packed away, the glitter is slowly settling, and the good doctor’s laboratory has finally returned to some semblance of normality. But what a ride it was!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Cast Out of the Shadows has officially wrapped its three performances at The Screening Room on October 20, 21, and 23 — and ALL THREE SHOWS WERE SOLD OUT!

To our unconventional conventionalists who joined us for this wild, wonderful, and wonderfully unconventional adventure: THANK YOU! You brought the energy, the enthusiasm, and the kind of audience magic that simply cannot be manufactured in a laboratory. Each performance had its own personality, its own surprises, and its own special spark. You made every night feel like a different kind of beautiful madness, and we couldn’t have asked for better company on this strange journey.

We certainly hope you left feeling positively transformed — with your spirits lifted, your inhibitions loosened, and perhaps a few new favourite memories to keep you warm on those long October nights. After all, don’t dream it, darlings. Be it!

A tremendous thank-you goes to The Screening Room for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to try something this fantastically fun. Bringing Kingston’s drag community into the world of Rocky Horror was an exciting leap, and we’re so grateful to have had a venue willing to help us bring this deliciously unconventional production to life. Here’s hoping this experiment in theatrical pleasure is just the beginning!

And, of course, no mad scientist’s masterpiece comes together without a spectacular collection of creatures behind the curtain. I could never have done this without our extraordinary cast and crew. Your talent, creativity, hard work, and willingness to throw yourselves into this wonderfully weird world made the entire experience possible. You are the real laboratory legends!

Meet the Creatures of the Night

  • Frank-N-Furter — Rowena Whey
The sweet transvestite who kept us all under their spell.
  • Columbia — Yuni Verse
A glittering force of nature with plenty of sparkle to spare.
  • MagRaff — Dare de LaFemme
Bringing deliciously devious energy to our little experiment.
  • Brad Majors — Sundae Mourning
Our delightfully bewildered hero in a world gone wonderfully wrong.
  • Janet Weiss — Oktavia Kalour
Proving there’s much more to being a good girl than meets the eye.
  • Eddie / Dr. Scott — Street Meat
Bringing the drama, the surprises, and a little extra shock to the proceedings.
  • Rocky — Carn E Val
Our very own laboratory creation — and quite the specimen!
  • Master of Ceremonies — Tyffanie Morgan
Guiding you through the madness, keeping the experiment on track (more or less), and making sure everyone knew they were in for a night to remember.

Lighting Operator — Ash
For helping bring our strange little world to life, one perfectly timed cue at a time.

To every performer, crew member, collaborator, and audience member who made these three nights possible: thank you for taking a chance on something a little different and making it such a smashing success.

Kingston, you have proven once again that you have a taste for the strange, the spectacular, and the gloriously unconventional. We came together to experiment, to entertain, and to celebrate the magic of live performance — and you showed up in a big way.

So, until the next time we gather for a little theatrical transgression, remember to keep celebrating your individuality, embrace your inner creature of the night, and never be afraid to step outside the ordinary.

Give yourself over to absolute pleasure, darlings!

With love, gratitude, and just a touch of sweet transvestite mischief,

Tyffanie Morgan
MC, conspirator, and proud member of Kingston’s wonderfully weird arts community

It’s just a jump to the left… and we hope to see you at our next adventure!
