How much can you grow?
To help with local food insecurity, we are holding a “How Much can you grow” contest for all of those tomato growers out there.
Grow and be eligible for a $1000.00 prize!
It’s easy! Register and pick up your tomato plant from Carson’s Garden + Market, grow tomatoes, weigh in each month, and you can be eligible to win $1000 prize pack from Craftsman!
Grow for your community
Help with local food insecurity. Donate extra food you grow to United Way’s Fresh for All. Visit FreshforAll.ca for details and drop off sites.
Contest rules :
- Pick up one free ‘rare and secret’ tomato variety at Carson’s Garden + Market starting May 13th. (While quantities last) One tomato plant per household.
- These plants will be very distinct in colouration so that no one can cheat.
- Grow and weigh all of the tomatoes that you can produce from this one plant.
- Once a month, email totals into info@carsonsgardenandmarket.com
- Donate all of the extra tomatoes to the Untied Way’s Fresh for All program which helps provide fresh food to local food banks and kitchens
- Post and share your pictures using the tag #GrowwithPride and @CraftsmanCa (Instagram) and/or @CraftsmanToolsCA (Facebook)
- Winner gets an amazing outdoor tool prize pack from Craftsman Canada worth $1000.00
